Improvements

• General improvements
  • Minor improvements to the UI of some pages.

• General issues
  • Now the full path of a job is displayed when the user is inside the job’s page, not only the last two folders.
• Geometry issues
  • Fixed checks done on the validation of the job creation form, improving the verification on the buildup string and glass size.
  • Added check to prevent the user from creating a shape in which the edges cross each other.
• Supports issues
  • Added a check to prevent creation of a Hole Support in the same position of an already existing Point Load.
  • Now Snap Size is immediately updated when switching unit system.

  • Removed the PDF guide and replaced it with two pages inside the site with the full software documentation for both online and Grasshopper versions. They are available at:

Improvements

• Application improvements
  • Added notification system inside the application:
    • Notifications alert you when there are updates, when your subscription is about to expire, when your subscription is renewed, and other various communications.
    • Notifications are listed in the pop-up that appears when you click on the bell, which will eventually have a small number on its side to indicate the number of unread notifications.
    • Clicking on a notification opens it, showing its content and its metadata.
    • By showing all notifications, the Notifications page will be opened, where the user can see the list of all the notifications it received and can filter them.
    • The notifications system has been integrated with all the applications aspects, like accepted/rejected invites, expiring subscriptions, etc...
  • Added limitations list inside the details section of the organization subscription page.
• Mesh improvements
  • Improved policies used to invalidate the mesh (now many changes that don’t impact on the mesh won’t invalidate it no more).
• Options improvements
  • A new version of the ASTM E1300 standard has been added. Now the available standards are: EN 16612 (UE), ASTM E1300-16 (USA), ASTM E1300-24 (USA).
• Checks improvements
  • Now, if all combinations used in the analysis have the Usage property set to Unused, the page it will no longer be empty, but will have a text to warn about that.
• Other improvements
  • Various improvements and refinements in the UI and quality of life features across the whole platform.

Bug Fixes

• Home issues
  • Now the registration button in the pricing card will no longer appear while logged in.
• General issues
  • Now when the organization name is changed, the account data in the navbar will be updated immediately to reflect the change (instead of needing for the page to be reloaded).
• Geometry issues
  • Now when the glass geometry is changed, the applications checks that all existing barriers and point loads are still inside the shape after the change.
• Analysis issues
  • Solved a bug which was preventing the analysis results of Deflection combination to be returned when using the ASTM E1300 (USA) standard.

  • Improved UI of folder structure management. Now both job files and folders can be moved to nested folders by dragging them.
• Supports improvements
  • While adding a new constrain, when the cursor is outside the shape (and still near it) the insertion pointer will be dragged to the closest point on the shape's perimeter, instead of being placed on the closest vertex.
  • Added an info item for Width and Thickness fields of Structural silicone support type.
• Mesh improvements
  • Now the mesh won't be recomputed in case no changes have been made to the glass.
• Analysis improvements
  • The face selection of the glass panes has been made easier.
• Loads improvements
  • Added possibility to select combos in the combinations table to delete multiple rows at once.

Bug Fixes

• Workspace issues
  • Corrected an issue that was preventing folder to be moved to other locations.
• Mesh issues
  • Fixed a bug that caused the application to retain the old mesh if the mesh calculation operation failed.
  • To avoid misalignment in the saves and improve performances, it will no more possible to toggle mesh view or save the project while the mesh is generating.
• Geometry issues
  • Implemented check on curvature radius to ensure that its minimum absolute value is respected when the glass shape change, which was missing.
  • Added a check to prevent the possibility of having a glass shape with two overlapping points.
• Loads issues
  • Now the analysis results are invalidated on shear (G) values update.
  • The popup used to ask confirmation before deleting a combination now saves correctly the user preference when the "Don't ask again" checkbox is toggled.
  • Solved an issue which was causing some SLS combinations to have Pressure and Temperature values set to 0 instead of 1.
• Solver issues
  • Implemented a check to solve an issue that in some cases was preventing some restrains to be detected by the solver, which was producing wrong results for those job cases.
• Other issues
  • Fixed some issues with some graphical elements rendering and UI components, which were causing unhandled exceptions and low graphical performance under specific conditions.
  • Added checks to prevent user from accessing to some pages when unauthorized.
  • Fixed some interface issues.

Changes

• Organization Management and User changes
  • The owner of an organization is now able to add new members to his organization from the Members page in the Profile section.
  • Organization's members handling (done by the organization's owner):
    • To add new members, the owner can send an invitation providing his email address. The invitation can be revoked at any time before it's accepted, and it will be necessary to renew it to make it valid again.
    • Each member can be disabled to prevent him from accessing the organization workspace. The user affected by this action will receive a notification at his email address. The owner can then enable the user again at any time.
    • Each member can be removed from the organization. The user affected by this action will receive a notification at his email address. To reintroduce the user in the organization, the owner will have to send him a new invitation.
  • A user can be included in multiple organizations. He can switch between them by opening the account panel on the top-right part of the window.
  • Added organization's type field.
  • Added user's profession field.
• Geometry changes
  • Instead of selecting a predefined shape, now the to create the glass shape the user must insert the number of vertex (3 to 50) of the shape.
  • Set the default interlayer quantity to 4.
• Supports changes
  • Added default and minimum values for seal supports parameters.
• Loads changes
  • Added 6h and 12h as load duration options.
  • Now barrier representation no more appears over holes.
  • The combination assembly policies have been changed to disable contemporaneity of Barrier and Point load types.
  • Added pillow check combination for standard EN16612.
  • Implemented filtering by opposite signs for combinations.
  • For Climate Pressure Load, it is now possible to make distinction between the Winter and Summer seasons when setting the Production value.

  • Made available the link of the source file used to generate the data of the cables in the archive.

  • Improved visibility of supports points by making them thicker and changing their colour to green.
  • Changed the selection policy of existing supports to make it more user friendly.
• Options improvements
  • Added pane and package enumeration in the glass section image to improve data understanding.
  • Added the k_mod value to the pane's loads table.
• Interface improvements
  • Enhanced inference speed and improved accuracy.
  • Expanded applicability of the neural network use cases. In particular, larger climate loads are now supported, spacers are now supported, point loads now cover a wider range of force magnitudes and load widths.
• Report improvements
  • Added a new PDF visualizer in the job's report section to improve compatibility with browsers that don't implement a built-in document visualizer.

  • Report content improvements:
    • Added the side of the glass in which the barrier and point loads are applied to.
    • Added the cavity gas type for cavities layers in the build-up table.
    • Added graphical representation of silicone supports' stresses.
    • Added glass curvature radius and curvature representation.

  • Improved file name conventions when coping files, adopting a progressive enumeration of the copies instead of just adding just a suffix, which may have produced homonyms between copies.
  • Implemented or improved responsiveness of most application elements.
  • Tour guides inside project pages can now be closed as they start and will only be displayed again using the corresponding tour buttons.

Bug Fixes

• Measure Units issues
  • Added conversion from millimetres to inches of the Displacements values in the analysis results when the Imperial measure system is selected.
  • Now all the min/max bounds and step of dimensional fields consider the selected unit system.
• Mesh issues
  • Changing the hole mesh size now correctly triggers the mesh recalculation.
  • Corrected an issue with the mesh segment division because of which applying a barrier load to the glass may have produced a wrong mesh.
• Archive issues
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing the export of the archive files or in some cases was preventing the printing of many table columns in the exported file.
• Geometry issues
  • Added default value for seal supports width.
  • It was previously possible to place supports outside the glass surface by changing the position of the glass shape's points manually, causing model instability errors during the analysis. Now, when the position of the shape points is changed, if one or more supports positions violate the new perimeters, a popup will appear to ask the user confirmation for applying the change, causing the deletion of these supports. This also occurs when the Change Shape button is used.
• Supports issues
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing to select a support if another one was already selected.
  • Fixed a bug which was causing the maximum diameter value for the holes to be set to a negative number when the support was placed near the shape border.
  • It is now checked that the entire support hole is inside the glass shape and respect the margin from the edges.
  • The application now prevents the user to place supports that overlap (partially or totally) with each other, which was an unwanted behaviour.
  • Corrected some checks on the support's position validity which didn't work properly with concave shapes.
  • Fixed editing state of the spacers and silicone supports tables rows, which weren't returning to normal state after selecting another row if a value had been changed.
• Loads issues
  • Improved image definition on the Loads section.
  • Corrected a problem that was preventing loads of Barrier type to be correctly displayed on concave shapes.
  • Changed wind pressure and wind suction rendering in the section view to fit them inside the image.
  • Fixed an issue which was sometimes preventing the analysis results to be invalidated by editing a load case.
  • Corrected point loads' representation in the section view, which was using the load's width instead of the height.
• Options issues
  • Now changing the Gammas and the Deflection limit values invalidates the analysis results.
• Analysis issues
  • Solved an issue with the restrains about the number of jobs that can be analysed each hour that in some cases was blocking completely the analysis execution for specific jobs.
  • Analysis Errors solved:
    • The given key 'x' was not present in the dictionary The error was caused by the presence of both support holes and support points with spring type constraints.
  • Solver:
    • Improved solver stability by fixing a critical bug where "fixing on holes" caused system instability and prevented the solver from reaching a valid solution.
• Report issues
  • Removed the climate loads list from the report when no cavity is present in the glass.
  • Now, when a load type isn't applied to the glass, that's marked in the report, instead of just having a blank paragraph.
  • Solved an issue which sometimes was causing the report creation's log to not disappear after the report had been created.
• Other issues
  • Now, when saving a job, if analysis results have been invalidated by a change and a previous result was saved, the saved result will be deleted. This allows to avoid mismatching between the saved job data and the saved result.
  • Fixed a bug that was preventing to delete any file or folder after attempting to delete a folder that was not empty.
  • Implemented the area and layer number restrictions checks that were missing.
  • Removed the "Free professional use" panel, used to register an organization account, in the Home page after the login.

Changes

• Supports changes
  • Removed axis from the glass view to improve supports visibility.
• Loads changes
  • Maximum duration value for loads is now set to 50 years.
  • Changed the activation policy for the Snow Load. Now the user can always choose to add it to the combination by setting a value higher than 0, then the solver will handle the decision process of choosing which faces will be subjected to the load, based on the glass inclination.
  • Barrier loads Y position now will be set to half the glass height by default on creation.
